Batching plant is a device that combines the ingredients of concrete and produces concrete. To produce concrete, specific proportions of cement, water and aggregates are mixed together. These ratios, which are called the concrete mixing plan, are determined for the concrete to reach the desired strength, provide sufficient durability and the desired slump.
The concrete mixing plan is presented either by weight or by volume, the calculation of which is a bit complicated and depends on factors such as the desired slump, the largest dimension of the grain, the amount of water and air, the amount of cement and many other things.
In general, it can be said that the batching plant pours cement from the silos and aggregates from the depot centers with different proportions into the boiler according to the concrete mixing plan and the use of built-in pumps, and then water is directed into this part. will be
After this step, the concrete ingredients are mixed and removed from the discharge area. It should be noted that in some projects, considering the size and volume of the project, the batching plant is used on site.
But in smaller projects, this device is usually placed at a distance from the project, and the produced concrete is brought to the project site using machines such as a concrete mixer.

Components of Batching Plant
Batching plant includes parts such as cement silos, water source, sand tank, sand scale, cement scale, mixer boiler, operator's room, cement transfer spiral and water meter. Cement silos are places for cement storage and there are between 3 and 5 silos depending on the size of the batching plant station. Also, according to the mixing plan, the required water enters the mixer from the storage source and is mixed with a certain amount of sand and cement, whose amount is determined by the scale, inside the mixer pot. It should be noted that the sand tanks and different types of cement are separate. In the operator's room, a person is responsible for directing the materials with specific weight and volume into the mixer pot.
